Officer Training

The Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners licenses Lofton Security Service. Lofton maintains its own licensed state instructors who are highly trained and have many years of security instruction in their background. Not only do we put forth a training program for our officers as required by the state, but we have expanded it to guarantee a higher quality of officer being placed into the field. We not only meet the standards of the State Board, but exceed them.

Lofton Security Service trains our officers to fit effectively into your organization. We work closely with you to insure that your standards are our standards, and that all of your policies, procedures, regulations, etc. are clearly defined and understood by all of our personnel who work for you. Prior to an officer starting on as assignment at your location, each prospective security officer will have completed a criminal background authorization form.

Continual On Site Training

Security officers are regularly put through on site training of standard operation procedures by field supervisors. Randomly the procedure manual will be reviewed one on one with the security officer, during the weekly site inspection by the field supervisors.

One of the first steps Lofton would implement is to develop site specific post orders in cooperation with your Director of Security that would be the focal point for on-site training.
